RE: What do you like most about spring gobbler season?
:DThe cool but not cold mornings. Listening to the woods come alive at daybreak.
The smell of everything greening around you. Not hearing the wife say " Since you arnt hunting now, how about helping me with the grocery shopping, and raking the yard, and cleaning the bathroom, and and and................." !!!!!!!![:' (] |

I love to set and watch and listen to the world awaken.all the birds starting to cherp and flitter around.the sun start to peak it nose out, then the big roll of a gobbler sounding off.
Anyone that has never sat and watched the world wake up has missed a great experence.[&:][&:] |

Turkey season is the first camping trip of the year for me. I stay anywhere from 3 to 7 days, all cosy in my wall tent with wood stove. Here in Oregon we can have 60 - 70 degree days, or snow like last year. I just really enjoy spending the springtime comming to life around you. New sprouts, all sorts of animals and the promise of warmer weather.:D
