I believe that custom calls are better, but I have heard lots of good things about the Primos Power Crystal!

My favorite box call i my quakerboy hurricane and my favorite slate call is my primos glass jackpot.

My best call has been Primos the Freak friction call. I change up strickers alot. Wood wise mystic sticks sound real good on it. I finally found a box call I like Primos Boxcutter.

I visited Cabelas this weekend and purchased the Primos Power Crystal and Lynch Fool Proof Box call. I am very pleased withboth thus far.

The quaker boy hurricane sounds great and you can make the primos power crystal scream. They make a deadly combo.

Ol' Yeller is a great call for a beginner, easy to run and sounds pretty good (at least the Turkeys think so!) I prefer the Primos Power Crystal, but both are good. I really don't have a favorite box call. I just bought the wet willy, forget who makes it, for those rainy mornings. I have a grand old master I think, that gets a response when they won't gobble to anything else. AfterI have them located, I switch to a slate to bring em in.

I don't use box calls.

My favorite pot calls are the Talkin' Stick glass over slate with a laminated wood striker and a purple heard striker. I also use he MADD super illumnator when the wind is blowing because it is very loud and high frequency. The Talkin' Stick is my go-to friction call. The glass surface produces the most realistic yelps and cuts I've ever heard and I can flip it over to the slate for soft whines, clucks, putts and purrs.
