Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

I found my vest.

Default I found my vest.

For the last couple weeks I have been in the search of a new vest for this year. I was going to spend 70 on one from Redhead but I am one who likes to see the product before purchase and i was not driving three hours to do so. Since i was iffy on my decision i went to Dick's Sporting goods the other day and saw they had field and stream vest there. The strap style one looked to have pockets for everything along with it being lightweight. The seat seemed decent especially since i don't know how the Red Head seat was gonna be. Another plus is that the new vest is only 40 bucks but then i have a coupon to take 10 bucks off. Even if this vest only last about 3 seasons I will be happy. If you are in the search of a new vest and want to go cheap i would go and check out these vest at your local Dick's Store.

I picked up a Cabelas vest last year with stadium seat built in from the bargin cave, I'll be testing it this season. Its nice an light, I like the layout of the pockets so far but will have to wait for the real field trials.

lol...sorry I just thought that was funny, because you have been on the site for 5 years, and this isn't the first time Dick's has been filtered out!

Yeah Richard's is what I call it on the boards... I've heard Dinks or Dicnks, or Dic's used also.

Strutter I'm glad you found your vest, you dang sure did your homework! I was starting to wonder if you'd make your mind up before turkey season ended! Good luck with it!

Good deal. D! ck's always seems to have bargains. I just picked up the strap version of the RedHead vest you were referring to this weekend. It is awesome. I could plop down anywhere with that thing and be comfy. No trees needed to lean against.

HuntingBry, are you sure you didn't get the Bucklick Creek vest that has the chair built into it so you can plop down anywhere. The one i was talking about had a quoted padded back but i didn't think it was enough to support you anywhere.
