Default First With Two

went again this morning.went to the west end of the property for the first time this season.heard one bird gobble way off.Earl was across the road,so I didn't really know where the bird was.went as far as I could to listen again.never heard him any more.don't really know if I went the right direction or not.
So after good light I went back the way I came, so if he was the other way I may hear him.Nothing for 20 min. or so.
So I started to walk and call.went toward the other end of the property,(2 miles away).after about a mile and 1/2 I got an answer.a real course yelp(sounded like a jake).so I sat up and called one time and got another answer about 1/2 the distance.clucked one time and he stuck his head up at 15 yards.
I saw it was a jake, something seemed different.he had two beards so I fired.

he was 16 lbs ; one beard 4" and one 3" ; and about 1/2" spurs.
