Just got one of those new "Chair Blinds"

If anyone hasnt checked out one of those Chair Blinds by Ameristep, you definetly should. Just got one today and it looks like its gonna work very nice for turkey hunting. Not exactly sure if you can bowhunt in it unless its a crossbow though. Anyways, real compact and easy to set up with MAGNETIC windows, not those loud velcro ones. Millions dollar invention this thing is. If your looking for a good turkey blind for yourself, check one of these out.

My brother told about those and I've been meaning to check them out. I'd like to get for when we are videoing hunts
Dicks has them and I need to stop in to see if they'll be big enough for a tripod, camera and myself.

Hi guys,
I had one from Ameristep. Killed a buck out of it at 30 yards first day i used it. I liked it then....
BUT..... the next time i used it i leaned on the arms of the chair to ease my way down into it and the rivet broke where the arm attached to the plastic piece. I replaced it with a screw and then the plastic piece broke. I'm not huge by any means at 200 lbs and quite frankly i really didn't put a lot of weight on it.

kdsberman,
Most will be fine if careful. I caution you NOT to lean on the ends of the arms when getting in and out of the blind. In no way did i put all my weight on that chair when it broke.
Good luck

DannyD, just wondering...how did you transport yours in and out of the woods? Did you have it out of the bag and just carry the chair partor did you keep it in the bag and use the strap? Or didu just leave it in the woods ready to go. Just wondering the best way and easiest way to transport it. Thanks
