Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

JW!,
Sometimes those later seasons can be the best ones. Mend up and get back out there.

Wingbone - thanks - in our home state - I always hunt late season.

Our group has one out of state hunter so we are always gyven late seasos - always

But am not whinin at all..........we do shoot birds and now with the opportunity to purchase extra kill tags - well let's say I am to hunt the last 3 weeks.

Last yr hunted 5th - got a bird - bought another 5th tag - filled that.

Then hunted 6th - got a bird.....but did not fill that last tag

Oh and I still use your fantastic drawing!

At least the snow will probably be shallower by those later weeks. I've got the 2nd week. But I might get another tag and hunt the 5th this year. Hopefully it wasn't your shootin' shoulder.

No was not shooting shoulder = was lucky there at least - but was a mess....but hey thanks folks!

But I gotta keep the arm immobile to make sure the muscle stays put where sown.....

AND

The kind words, the sharing of ideas - is what the Internet was designed for. By sharing what I have learned I hope to help you prevent some of the stoopid mistakes I made and save ya grief. And you have taught me tons too and that hair dryer trick was taught to me here.

Now another use for that hair dryer - well we blow dry wet dead birds for a much nicer picture!
