Well it depends on the situation. If I hear a gobbler on the roost i normally set up and crack out either my Knight and Hale Slate queen or Primos Jackpot glass call. If i don't get a gobble on the roost i normally use my quaker boy hurricane box call to reach out further. I am looking into the nwtf crystal call by woodhaven or the primos power crystal as the new call of the year.

Try this one by River Valley Game Calls. Works wet with the carbon striker and sounds great. Higher pitched to reach out there.

Any call from Hunters Specialties, considering they arent real expensive and they sounds great. One of my favorites, which isnt made by HS i dont think, is the Thunder Dome. Best sounding yelps ive heard out of any call ive ever heard. I say learn to call with a slate call, personally i think they are the most versatile.

Turkey Calls
