Primos gobbler call
 

Has any one ever used one?
Did it work good.

It works in the right situation.It works onaggressive territorial birds that are hung up.It can scare a turkey off as well as bring one in though. Be very careful using it. They call in more hunters than turkeys.

I use one every now and then. Sometimes they help and sometimes they don't. I worked a bird last year for an hour. I started mixing in some gobbles with yelps and got him to within 40 yards. It was really thick where he was though, so I couldn't get a clean shot. They probably don't work more than they do work though, but it's still worth a try. I always carry one with me, just in case.

I have used it before as sort of a locator call. I will start out yelping with a mouth call and then "interupt" the yelping with the Primos gobbler. Has worked pretty well to get the other bird to gobble. More often than not, I don't use it.

I use a Red Wolf Gobbler call for locating----but as said above and can't be stressed enough - be careful!

I agree, a gobbler call is liable to bring in more hunters than birds, and this can get you seriously hurt. not to mention the hunters tramping through the woods toward you could scare away turkeys in your area.

I myself carry one with me and in some cases its brought a hung gobbler right to me but i have also spooked a few using it..

It really doesn't sound like a mature gobbler, more like a young jake, like 1.5 months old, seriously.

I agree. I bought one, and it doesn't sound very convincing. It works as a locator, but I don't use it very much.

i use them manytimes it use it as a locator call or to bring in a hung-up Tom
