RE: Box Call
Assuming that you are at least fairly new to turkey hunting, I would suggest a Lynch Foolproof.
If you are talking about the other end of the spectrum, Pauls Calls makes some of the finest custom boxes I have ever had the priveledge of running.
There are tons more between the two in both commercial and custom, including the ones I make myself.

I have a Woods Wise Raspy Hen.
It sells as waterproof, I've never put it to that test.
I like the sound and will reach out there and be heard.
Not that expensive, try one if you can, I think you'll like it.

You are gonna get 100 different answers from 100 different people on this one. There are alot of good calls out there. Everyone likes their own style. If I had to suggest I would say the Primos Box cutter as said before is a good one or the Primos little heart breaker is nice too.

RE: Box Call
I have a Quaker Boy grand ol champion, a good call, better than any production call so far. $18.
Then I also have THE best custom box call I have ever run. Topping other name recognized calls. For $100 it is a turkey talking jewel. Wormy chestnut with a birch paddle.
Look up "Scott's Cutter" turkey calls. Absolute worth the $$. It sings hen talk.
