What box call do you have ?? I am looking to purchase one.

Mad Calls: Cherry Bomb, it works fine, and is only about $20.

I build my own box calls in the field i use a Sycamore & Black Walnut Boat Paddle Box its very loud an has alot of raspy sound custom calls make to me the best money can buy..

Woodhaven Realhen. Runs about $60-$70... upper teer of what I consider production quality.

IMO the best commercially mass produced boxes are made by Primos.

I have the quaker boy hurricane. It works good and it's only $20 i think

If you can go someplace where you can run a few first would be great. some good ones already said also ill add Lynch's Fool Proof, andPrimos one sided Box Cutter. good luck

I agree that custom calls are superior ut if you dont want to spend so much I like the primos box cutter too.

Primos Box Cutter and the K&H Ol' Yelper. The Box Cutter goes in the woods with me though. The Ol' Yelper stays home.

Custom is he only way to go IMO!

Now after chasin' for all these yrs or so and since a box is one of my favorites you have been given some good information above. Try the call before ya buy it - BUT - you will come to find over time Custom is the way to go.

You can buy custom for he same amount you pay over the counter.......and be better off for it!
Will last you a life time!

I have a M.A.D. river otter and a primos hurican. I like the M.A.D. box call better. I have tried the heavy metal box call and that sounds good too. You don't need to use chalk on those ones either.
