Kansas here. We have so many turkeys here in the area that I live in, they are doing damage to the crops and the farmers are getting ticked off. Yet we can still only shoot one turkey in the fall, and 2 in the spring.

Arkansas. We have a few birds. I've hunted all over. I like New Mexico, Kansas and northern Missouri best. These 3 areas have alot of birds and not nearly as much hunting pressure as the old South. The hunting pressure in most of Mississippi, Alabama, and Arkansas is ridiculous.
