Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default California Turkeys?

Posted this on the Turkeyzone also. Wasn't sure how many here visit that site.

I may be taking the family to California from Mar 29 to April 6. I was trying to work out turkey hunting in NE during the last half of that week (me with archery and my 9 yr old w/ a youth shotgun tag), but my wife isn't too exited about that plan.

Anyone know anything about turkey hunting opportunities in and around Disneyland. The very minor research I have started looks like some of the NF near there (Los Padres) holds turkeys but was part of the recent fires. Any info would be appreciated.

May not work out, but I always try to come up with a plan to throw in a turkey hunt during spring vacations. Florida would be great but its too far from CO.

I think that will get you there. It is just starting to heat up over there. For some reason it does that every year about this time. Go figure.
