After 9 seems to be the best for me. Can only hunt tilnoon here. Rolled one at 11:50 one year.

usually before seven, it always seems to happen early. although i have killed quit a few towards 12

I think most hunters will say that first hour of daylight, including myself, but I really love an afternoon hunt also. I like to set up about 4:00. I have killed several good gobblers between 4 and 5.

I've only killed 4, all between 9:00 am & 10:00 am.

Mine have really been all spread out. The earliest one was 7:28am, but I worked him from the roost until BANG! The latest was right at noon - quittin' time. I've taken them at most of the hours in-between as well.

My biggest birds between 10 an noon but also take alot at sun-up

First thing in the morning works great for me. Most of my birds I've shot have been before 8:00 am

9:00 , then around 12:00
