You don't have to worry about their ability to smell, but their hearing is excellent. They canas good or better than a deer. Of course we all know about their vision. If theyhad the sense of smell as a deer has, we would never kill one.

One of the great things about turkey hunting is that you don't have to worry about scent control, however, turkey do have excellent sight and hearing...

Also, as far as there sight goes. Stillness is FAR more important that camo. I have successfully called in turkeys in blue jeans when I was scouting.

Come on Buck, you should know it's not too wise to call turkeys before season opens.

Wild Turkeys

10X better eye sight
5X better hearing
they can run 35-40 miles an hour
they can fly 40-50 miles an hour
they have a brain the size of a pea
and a memory like an elephant

Thats what makes them wild turkey if they had smell they would be Dam turkeys
