turkey skinz for decoys
 
anyone else checked these out?? seen them in my cabelas spring turkey catalogue. they are real turkey feathers that slip on around the decoy giving it a more realistic look. kinda pricy $$ though!! but look good.

Saw them in the catalog too. Wonder how it would stand up in the elements though. Wind, rain and such.

very good point, im not sure. i wonder if you could coat them with spray water proofer!!

Son, you need a B-Mobile. They went crazy over mine last year, 3 turkeys kill coming to it. Get one or I will choke you out.

used a real tail fan I mounted for 4 yrs now - still looks good - weather was no problem.

What I wonder about is what are the feathers attached to and how are they attached? Are what the feathers attached to a water proof material and if they are glued on, is the glue water proofso they wontcome off after a short period of time.
They look like a good idea for more realizam though.

Well P.A.L. for your information,Dalton has the pretty boy and pretty girl decoys, the bird i arrowed last season was attacking it ;)BUT i have a new secret weapon decoy that im not alloweed to talk about just yet, I promised the member on here i would keep it a secret ;)lets just say it has(........) :)the skinz would be for a hen decoy if i had them. ps: dont ever drive through my county again without stopping by :D

They look pretty cool but im kinda sceptical about their durability as well, not only the rain, but normal wear and tear...getting tossed around in the back of the truck and such
