Saw this gun today at Dicks. I have a camoed mossberg 500. That shoots okay. Does anyone own a benelli? Im thinking about getting one.

rochelle, Benelli semi-autos are one of the best in my opinion. Those along with Remington and Browning are probably the top three out there!! Like you, I always fancied a benelli myself!! I like their M-1 models myself. I'm trying to decide between the all matt black synthetic version or the one in camo. You can't go wrong with benelli, that's for sure!! <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

Rochelle, I have an older Benelli semi-auto that I use for bear and bobcat hunting.It has taken a lot of abuse and I have never had any problems with it.

2 yrs ago, i got an M1 super 90. Great gun, i liked it better than the barretta, it just felt better to me personally. The only thing that has happened to me and a friend with a Black Eagle is the inertia recoil spring in the stock needed to be replaced. It is something i didn't know should be cleaned after each season. Hands down the best, lightest, and toughest gun i own. I got the black synthetic, 12 ga, 28in barrell.

rochelle, i would also consider the beretta 390/391, franchi 612, or the benelli m1 super 90.

I have an M-1 in camo. I love the way the gun handles, its wieght and speed of cycling. I got in July, however it is back at Benelli to have the recoil spring replaced. It would not cycle shells. I will post my final feelings on the gun and service when I see it again in eight weeks or so.

i fixed one for a guy . extractor broke, brownells said they have a reputation of that. i shot the gun after ,sweet! that sucker will pump them out. i would love to own one but i will have to save for a while !!!

I have a moss.500 it hurts to shoot turkey amo !!! i bought a used m1 90. it must have been bent, shot to the right. the store didn't want to make it right by me untill I ask about the super black eagle. well I own one !!! I love this gun. <img src=icon_smile_approve.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_approve.gif border=0 align=middle> I can shoot 3 3 1/2s boom boom boom and still be able to see, hear and talk !!!!!
