RE: clearing land during turkey season?
Do you mean hunting this spring? If so me personaly would try and stay away from using real loud stuff (like chain saws) close to turkey season, and until late june or so in case here may be nesting hens nearby. I don't know when your season is, but maybe if you can get some stuff done early march it might be ok. I don't think quieter farm machinery would be as bad (and they may be more used to that and not leave).

RE: clearing land during turkey season?
i will be hunting turkey from april 19 to may 18th. the area where im planting the food plot is all thick honeysucle now and i need to clear it and plant it (puna chicory) by the the 10th of june at least but it will take a while to clear all the honeysucle and plant the plot. i will need to use chainsaws and loud equipment. i am not sure wheere the turkeys are right now.

I would say start clearing the trees out now. Its easier with no leaves budding and frozen ground. I dont think it would bother them if you get started now. Take a weekend and just get it cleared. But do it well before season starts...
