nope...if the gun is pointed at them it will appear as just a twig or long branch....all camo is a must....they can see colors and use their eye sight as there major mode of protection....

again...pick up some videos not to say we or I here at HNI won't do our best to answer all of your questions...sometimes watching it really helps!

gun does not need to be camoed...although it wouldn't hurt.

Getting dressed up is half the fun : ) I agree, they have some very good eye sight. Just like with deer hunting though, make sure you leave yourself some shooting lanes.Cant wait for the season t get here. Camo in the pics UltimateCamo

That should be fine. They key is movement...don't move much when the bird is near you. If you can see the turkey, the turkey can definitely see you!

I wear just some mismatched camo... I make sure I wear good camo gloves too...
I also wear a cheapo vest I bought at the local hardware store, wore it for 4 years....
My guns a black 835.... No camo... I just keep it steady or hide in shadows till I need to use it...

Nuttin fancy... I use flambos... They fold and unfold well and are really durable... also stay away from the ones that have the coatings on them.. they shine in the sun a little too much
