Anybody pattern Rem HD ammo yet???

I haven't tried them yet. I plan on buying a box of five and see how they work. By all indications they are supposed to be pretty lethal. We shall soon see. I would also like to know if anyone has tried them out.

Haven't...how much is a box running? I already have several different loads that I am going to be trying out of a new choke (that should be here in the couple of days), so I probably wont be messing with load this time around. I would definitely like to know how they do...especially you superstrutter since we shot the same Rem 870 SPS-T with thumbhole gun (probably different chokes)...

Mr. Longbeard...... cant say that I have used or patterned the HD but if it is, in my opinion, remotely as good as the Premier Hevi Shot... I'll take it. My hunting buddies and I are completely sold on the Hevi Shot and have several real life experiences to say that this stuff reaches out and touches them. Yikes !

It's kind of a spin off from the hevi shot. It's supposed to be better though. I don't know why a company has to change a good thing. I used the hevi shot mags. They patterned the best out of my gun, and now they don't make them any more. I do still have two boxes of them though. The HD is supposed to be new and improved, and faster. They guarantee all pellets to be uniform to improve velocity, more knock down power and a longer maximum range. On paper, it sounds like an awesome load. I will try them out and let every one know how they did. I may try to find some this weekend.

Yeah, that's true. They sell them now as hevi 13's. The hevi 13's just don't pattern well at all with my set up though. Seems like they wouldn't be that much different, but I guess Remington just made a better shell. This is why I'm going to test the HD's. I'm looking forward to see how well they perform.
