..Well im getting Gobbler fever once again,days are getting
longer, its getting a little warmer,and i drove the 4 wheeler
on the hill yesterday lo and behold,12 big long beards all
together and they had ropes,and talked to my turkey buddy
tonite and he is getting it to...how about you??????

Started getting to me last week, guys at work tellin me about all the turkeys on their farms. Man its going to be a long 3 months.

What do you mean getting the fever? I've had the fever &quot;bad&quot; for about a month now already. Yessir, it's gonna be a long 11 weeks or so! Just thinking about it makes me grin though. <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

Oh yeah. It's been so darn cold here for the last month it's tough to get into the fever however I'm seeing birds in all the cut corn fields. The warmth of spring and the thunderous gobblers can't get here fast enough.

FEVER..It never leaves me!

Yep, now's the time I start going through my turkey vest by double checking everything. Re-surfacing the friction calls and lightly sanding the striker tips, making sure that my gloves and face mask are there along with a spare for each!! Make sure that my compass, pruners, limb lights, knife, calls, and a plastic zip-lok bag which contains call surfacing stuff, mini tape measure, pen, licenses, and small piece of string to tie the carcass tag to the leg. Get my shells ready to re-pattern, (just to make sure ol' betsy is still right on!!) Then I get into the video watching mood!! Yep, by the time our season rolls along, I'm quite pumped!! <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>

Yea...It's starting to get to me too! I can't wait.

Yeah I've got it and as the days get warmer and things start to look a little more like spring it will only get worse{or should I say better}.
