Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default RE: New Choke Tube Question

There are some flush mounted tubes, however there also tubes in the market that extend approximately 1/2 inch or more. I would suggest taking one of your old tubes and see how much shorter it is than your new one. That will show you if the tube is properly seated.

Pop-a-Squat, all custom turkey chokes extend almost 2&quot; or more past the end of the barrel, so don't worry a bit about that 1/2&quot;!!<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>

The remington turkey and xtra full have a knirled (rough) section in front. It is normal.

Pop-A-Squat, you might want to try a Rem. Ventilator choke also, I had the ex. full and the Ventilator will shoot circles around it, If I'm not mistaken I think the Ventilator is 10/1000ths tighter than the ex-full tube.
