Default H S Strut undertaker choke .665

I just found this tube for 18.00. Since I didn't pick the 600.00 gun( like I usually do)and bought the 300.00 1300 Winchester, was wondering if this has worked good for anyone or is it a 18.00 choke.

You won't know till you try. Several buddies of mine and myself all have Browning BPS 3.5" 12 gauges. We all tried different chokes until we found one that our guns liked. This approach saved us some money since we each did not have to buy as many chokes. The choke that patterned the best was the Rhino(80 bucks) but the choke that suprised us all was a Star Dot(19.99) from Wal Mart. The Star Dot performed really well and cost 1/4 of the price of the Rhino. The difference in the two seemed to be in construction with the Rhino being much heavier constructed and it just looked to be of better quality(in terms of lasting ability).

If you know some people who have turkey chokes for the type of gun you are shooting ask to try them out. Most people are more than happy to show you how great their chokes perform.

DoninVa, I had a Remington super mag, and I shot a undertaker 665 in it. I have killed turkeys up to 65 yards with Winchester supreme 6's through it. I think the choke tube works fine for the price.

I've got an older Browning BPS. It has the same choke system as your 1300. I got an Undertaker last year. It shot Win. HV #6's better than any other choke I tried so far. It shot #4's as well as any choke I've tried. It shoots as tight a pattern as I would want to shoot without adding sights to the shotgun.

I have one and also shoot it through a Win 1300. Best shooting gun I have. Ive tried other chokes but the undertaker shoots best.

I have one for my Win 1300s. The undertaker likes #6 shot in both on my 1300s. Doesn't like the bigger stuff much though. Just remember...Every gun will shoot different.

I put the Undertaker on my Win. 120. With the federal 3"mag. #5 shot , I get consistant kill zone hits on a pattern target at 50 steps. I nailed a tom at 52 steps. Like Borch was saying tho , every gun shoots different . Try a few different types of rounds and pick the one for you. As far as I'm concerned , you got a good choke. I recently bought a Star dot ($10...why not?)which I have yet to pattern .Once I do I'll post the results.
