does anyone use Primos calls?
I've bought 2, and I just don't like em. maybe it's just the models
I've bought, not sure. I bought a limhanger single reed several
years ago, and never could get much of a sound out of it.
I bought a Primos raspy cutter type call a few days ago, and it's
just like the Ricky Joe Bishop calls, hard to blow through!
I don't mean to be knockin these guys mouth calls, that's just my experience with them.
they both make great slate calls, I have both of Bishops thunderdome
calls( slate and aluminum) and I've heard great things about Primos
calls as well.

I really like the Limb Hanger and have had a bunch of success with it. I have tried to get my buddies to use it, but it seems like a call that they can either use or they can't, not much in between. I also like the Diamond Yelper. It is very similar to the Limb Hanger.

I bought one of their stacked calls last year, can't remember now which one. It does take more air to work it, but I loved how it sounds. The turkeys around here seemed to like how it sounds also.

Primos makes some great calls, but they don't seem to fit everyone. Will designs his calls with an extra large piece of tape so that they can be trimmed to fit the individual caller. So far, I have not been able to trim one to sound all that great for myself, but I've heard other guys use them and they sound great.
If you think you're close, keep working at it. Otherwise, I'd try others until I found one I like, or, more importantly, that the turkey likes.

I'll pass on the primos mouth calls. There is only 2 calls i like. Knight&Hale makes 1 and mad use to make the other. Lucky for me i bought about 10 of them and i have at least 10 more springs with my favorite mouth call...

I'll pass on them too Bo!The tape seems bulky as well as taking more time to break in than other mouth yelpers I've used!Just speaking for myself I can do better elsewhere!

I guess it's what you prefer or are used to. I like the Primos calls but can't stand the Knight & Hale and Quaker Boy mouth calls (no offense Adrian, I've tried, I swear )
