Default Airguns for turkey hunting

I've recently heard that some states are now allowing the use of airguns for turkey hunting, does anybody know which states they are ?

Does anybody know anything about the 9mm air rifle that RWS presumably makes for this hunting application ?

RayC as stupid as it sounds your exactly right. You can hunt turkeys with an air rifle using a .20 minimum caliber. You cant use pistols or rifles though, dont understand this and embarrased to even comment on it!<img src=icon_smile_dissapprove.gif border=0 align=middle>

I live in a large city here in California and some of the large parks in town are loaded with turkeys, I've wondered since its legal to use an air rifle if I could use one to take a bird. Maybe that was their reasoning.

It takes one, to know one

If you are using an air gun that goes as fast as a 22 why not just use a 22 instead. Hidden Hunter You Are Right.
