Default shot placement from stand

i will be hunting deer from a treestand and i have a fall turkey tag also. so if a turkey womders by like they did last year(no tag then) where should i placemy shot? thanks

Your shot placement should be between the birds wings in the center of it's back but if you have a diffrent angle then try to shoot at the wing butt ( shoulder ) on it's side.

that should help....

from the stand, i would move up the 3 shots from the ground. aim for the exit hole...i heard that "shoot em high and watch em die, shoot em low and watch them go" about turkeys with a bow. but dont forget the 2-3 inches of feather and bone on the back...i hear if you get one through the body cavity you will be good...but ideally you want to bust a wing or leg while doing it...good luck
