well, this one reply i wish i didn't have to write, but i have to tell y'all......i didn't get a bird because of a couple of reasons. 1, i couldnt shoot turkey where i hunted2, i got a 4 day muzzleloader permit given to me today, so instead of hunting archery this weekend, i'll be hunting deer....or hog, but no birds...this coming weekend was my only chance of getting a bird with my bow and the chances of that happening are even more slim than me taking a buck, so i had to count the odds and go with the muzzleloader hunt...sorry......i wish each and everyone of you luck and i am sorry for letting my teammates down.......

You didn't let us down. Each of us has to make decisions on how best to utilize the resources available to us. If my odds were best for a smokepole deer over an archery bird thats the way I would have to go. Good luck!

No problem huntnma. My season right now is archery for turkeys. But it has been tough. Im doing double duty hunting turkeys and whitetails. I finally had some birds work close, but nothing happened. No shots were presented to me. I'll keep hammering away and hopefully can score. the fall season is tough...
