Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default RE: Chokes and Barrels for Hevi-Shot

Dave , I agree with your statement as well. From all that I've been hearing on this stuff (hevishot), I still want to "see" for myself out of my gun. A scoped gun is the way to go, or a Red-Dot system, because of the extremely tight patterns. And a nice tight pattern out to that 40 yard marker is what I'm after, the tighter the better. That's why I'm always on the lookout for the latest and greatest, as far as chokes and turkey loads go. I have a feeling that my personal quest will be approaching the end with this Nitro stuff!! They suggest going with a Rhino choke tube while using it, but if I can get some great patterns with the Tru-Glo, I just saved myself almost $80.00 for the price of that Rhino tube. I will keep you up-dated as we get into the spring. Another Happy Birthday to you as well my friend!!

"Spring Season....the Best"!!!
