A CHRISTMAS SURPRISE

While out and about for the holiday, The family and I saw two diffrent groups of gobblers.Each group had birds in full strut.The dark colored birds in snow covered fields with more snow fallin was a beautiful sight.

theres nothing more beautfull than a strutting gobbler,except maybe one in the snow. I have never saw one in the snow.
I'll bet that was something to see.wish I could have saw them.

i love to see them in strut...beautiful birds...and on Xmas day..thats pretty kool...i wish i would seen them! i seen some in snow in strut before..we were deer hunting and there was a hen talkin to him and he was gobbling his head off and strutting like it was spring...me and my dad were wondering what was wrong but sat down and enjoyed the sweet show and the music...i love that sound and sight!!

Jim that would make my Christmas merry for sure!Been a few years back but I called in tom for a good friend of mine during a freak snowstorm we had in early april!May not be strange to some obviously depending on where you live across the U.S and of course Canada for our friends up north but snow around these parts that time of year made for some interesting hunting!The birds still did there thing as we watched this young tom strut his stuff through the white stuff as he worked his way in!
