I guess it's legal in my state, but it is NOT something that I have ever considered. I agree that shooting a bird off the roost would take all the fun out of the "H-U-N-T."

I dont think its ethical, no fun/no challenge = not hunting (to me)

Not only unethical, should be illegal in ALL states. Those who do it should just go to the grocery store for a butterball.
