I've been turkey hunting for 17 years and I've shot some birds at C-LOSE range before. I have to say that this is a first. This guy, along with another came in on a string and were on top of me QUICK.

They started to get "froggy" on me and I shot this guy at 10-12 yards.

when they get that close that pattern really closes up dont it!! not much room for error. good shootin and nice bird.

looks like you got hungry and took a bite out of him! Those turkey load patterns don't uptoo much at close range.
