How many of you didn't get a bird this year?

12/31 days gone, no bird yet...

I know there are some pro turkey hunters on this site and I suppose they too go without a bird once and awhile but maybe not.

I hit them hard the first few weeks, no luck for me.

I've been skunked also. I have only heard a single gobble all season. I know that there are birds in the area. By the way its my second season.

I had 4 days to hunt birds a couple weeks ago and I just couldn't put it together with my bow after my huntin' buddy missed a 12 yard shot on the first day! However, I did wuss out and shoot one with the Benelli on the 4th and final morning of our hunt, if that counts?

Today is the last day of Indiana's spring turkey season. And I am without a bird. I was planning on going out one last time today but since its mothers day I decided to spend the day with my mom. Oh well I guess theres always the fall season.

Following a statement like that I'd say no it dont count and it borders on disgracefull that youreeliteism isvalued higher thanthevalue of a turkey thatsomeone else might have truely appriciated taking. Dude, I've been following your posts long enough to know, you aint killed enough turkeys to look down at gunned birds. Get real. If you truely feel that way, then quit shooting them with guns and leave that to the rest of us wusses.

I got skunked for the first time in the past 7 years. Crazy weather, poor hatches the past several years and dogs from the nearby town running wild on my property are my excuses. I get after them next spring though.
