My first bird!
Well boys mark me down fora bird! "Sixth day is the charm" After 3 hours of no gobbles, 10:00 rolled around and things started to pick up. I caught movement about 100 yards away, it turned out to be twotoms. While they were responding to my calls, they were in no hurry to come over to my decoys. It took an easy 20 minutes for them to get intomy comfort zone(30 yards or less). 10:40 a.m. and I just baggedthe first turkey of my career. Although I've been hunting deer, rabbit and pheasant for 15 years, this is only my second season for turkey.

10.5" beard

So whoever is keeping track of entering all of the scores put me down for a 54.5. If there is somewhere else other than our team poststo enter turkey scores for the contest let me know where to find it.
