This is an albino jake that my friend shot on the second day of indiana's 07 season. 14 lbs 4.5'' beard and 7mm spurs.

WOW .... thats a beautiful bird , is he going to have a full body struting mount done ?
I know I would , there's some of those off color phase birds out where I hunt and with any luck I hope to get one like that.

In my area, a farmer's kid had a white domestic hen escape and breed with a wild tom and 3 of the poults grew up to look like that jake. More than likely that happened, but still sweet lookin bird

Yeah.... around here we had a neighbor lose all of the domestic turkeys when a tree knocked the fence down..... must have breeded with the wilds because we see albino toms/jakes/and hens just about every year now. Thats prob what did happen. But it is still an awesome turkey. I would have liked to bag it.

no he said he could not get a full body mount because his shot and the turkey flopping around messed up the feathers too bad.
