    Any suggestions? I hunted with a friend this past weekend.....and he had an old Cody that was REALLy "throaty". I'd like something like that.

    Any suggestions???

    You might want to P M ShallowRio or ICALL2MUCH for a really nice slate call , they both make some really nice calls.

    They are hard to find because they don't make them anymore, but I have a Blodgett slate call that is awesome. Very raspy. I love it and am looking for another one myself. They're out there, you just have to look for them.

    That or a Woodhaven Legend Glass. Legend Slate would work for you too. Nice and raspy, loud if you need it. Plenty of turkey inside.
