Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

With all the snow today in Wisconsin I'm glad my permit is for next weekend. I'm wondering if the cold weather and new snow cover is going to ruin my season.

Iv'e got next week also. The weather forcast for next week has us in the 50's and 60's. That should take care of the snow. We doneed the moisture to get the morels poping in May.

I'm hunting in Jackson county this weekend, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Looking at weather.com highs should be high 40's low 50's so I'm hoping for the best.

I dont think the cold will affect me, but I'm sure hoping not to get rain on because a freezing drizzle would really suck.

I'm glad I got an extra tag for May, with the snow all the swamps where I hunt will be flooded again.

Whatever the weather, I'll be out there the second week calling for my Dad, the third week for me and my cousin on his first hunt and the 4th week with my brother. The 6th week I'll be calling fora friend from Missouri and maybe another from Louisiana.

I'll be out there for every season except 5th either calling and videoin, or hunting myself. I've got 2nd, and not to count my toms before they strutt, I'd have to say it's gonna be a perfect situation season with timing and weather. By the looks of it its gonna be cold enough that most hens aren't gonna be lookin yet but the toms are gonna be gettin one heck of an itch to go after something getting this late withlittleaction so far and the temps gettin into the 50s and 60s. I'll be huntin 6th as well but don't care to much about those later seasons. I'll be callin for another guy at the same time so he will be my priority. Good luck to everyone chasin those gobblers.
