Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Just curious: Did you get the two in one shot because your pattern was too big or did you just not see the other bird behind the one you were trying to kill? Don't take this as being critial, but I doubt you were trying to line up the two birds...If you were, however, that was quite a shot!

Actually, you can see in the pics that one of the birds doesn't have a fan hardly at all. I didn't really want that bird at all and I wanted him to just go on and his day would come later. I wanted the bird with the pretty fan, however, the ugly fan bird kept getting in front of the other one and they were already getting plenty close. The pretty fan bird stepped out from behind the other and what I thought was far enough away so I could get a good clean shot on just the one, but there must have been a stray BB or two that got the other one just in the right spot. I did pattern my gun and I know the abilities and limits that I have with it. It was completely un-intentional.

My sister did on accident this year here in Florida. She has a court date April 9th.....We're aloud 2 birds a year, but your daily bag limit is 1! Good thing I knew the game warden and that she was honest and brought them to the check station, he's told the S.A. that he wants the charges ajudicated......

I got 3 hens in one shot my very first year turkey hunting. I was hunting them in the spring and I had a huge group come in close and I just picked the closest one and shot...two more fell down behind.
Didn't know you could shoot hens in the springSome people would call you a poacher... But not me. I wouldn't want to offend anybody...

Instead. I'll congradulate you on some good shooting
