Help!!! I want new info on spring turkey calling...

I wish to have websites on turkey calling techiques and real good calling and if you can find them for me. Because I could try to listen to the patterns in which they make because I've messed up already on so many hunts that I do better in the fall then in the spring. That I'm now getting upset over everything that it gets me very annoyed and everything I even cry at times over these things also. :([>:]I want to turn that around so I can be happy as can be now. :):D;)

Well ... what most turkey hunters do is call in a series of three or four but when it comes to the fly down cackle or the excited hen , then you got to play it by ear on those.
With the fly down : first do two to three soft tree yelps then cackle or cluck real fast many times then two regular yelps.
The excited hen should sound like a series clucks and chucks from fast to slow and then fast again , just listen to the audio's on the sites or get some tapes.
Practice makes purfect so practice , practice , practice , I'm sure other members here will tell you the same and maybe something diffrent.

O I know maybe I'm best being a turkey guide or something like that I guess I'm bad at my aim I don't know. I've gotten all type of other animals but never a spring gobbler so we'll see what goes on and also again I do think your websites do seem very informative.

ACE chill dude. Its turkey hunting its so un predictable. Practice your shots. As Rdhunter said practice. Remember one thing about turkey hunting. It takes patience as well. Patience will get you a gobbler. Trust me on this one. I had a hard time with patience. I went 5 frustrating years without a gobbler.

Ace,

Three P's

Pattern - your shotgun so you know where its shooting
Practice - your calls and shooting
Patience - sit tight and wait em out if they are in your area!

Well guys I went to an expo The Pennsylvania Outdoor Life: Sportsman's Expo yesterday in Bloomsburg and there was a small clinic there also and I've learned some great stuff from them also. So, I wonder how I'll do this season.

Hmm hootnscoot put out some good advice there. I was going to ask have you checked your pattern and what type of shot are you using? What type of calls are you using?

From your posts you seem pretty young maybe? Why the heck are you crying? Everybody messes up at first.

When I started turkey hunting as a young kid no one showed me how to do anything. I started out with an old mossberg single shot and a mouth call. I learned all kinds of things such as turkeys don't like woven wire fence, there is such a thing as too much calling or too little calling, that turkeys have amazing eyesight, and can hear for miles, and so on. ;)
