RE: Public Land Brids
there is actually an area that is best accessible by a boat. i think this is in fact where the bird(s) that we heard were near. i may go out in early april and scout some more when the ice on the lake there melts. we'll see what happens. thanks for the advice.

To me public land is better than private land especially smaller areas like you mentioned Mr. Longbeard. One question? That's it? Here's your chance. I am amazed at that. I am also curious as to why you asked how much pressure? Depending on whether it does or doesn't what is your 2 responses (I assume your question means you would have different tactics)? I really am curious on the perspective.:) |

RE: Public Land Brids
was just curious to see if anyone has any tips or suggestions for hunting public land birds Not gonna do it I guess. All this time I was given you the benefit of the doubt after your smart a$$ comments about public versus private. Lol :D If Public Land will make a turky hunter out of ya then we're all ears. It's a no brainer :D What's a no brainer? If it's gets lots of pressure go somehwere else? In other words go find unpressured birds? Is part of being a good public land turkey hunter going to hard to reach places where other hunters won't go? In other words find unpressured birds? All those hunters (excuse me)...wannabe hunters, whoshare private land with multiple other hunters all hammering away at the same flock of birds want to know. LMAO :D:D |

[/quote] There's your problem you spend too much time readin and watchin tv and not enough time in the woods. Now I know you have a problem with what I'm gonna say but here it is anyways.Myself and a few others here have more years of turkey huntin and more kills than most of the (EXPERTS) in your books and videos. Yet in the past you have made comments to try to degrade myself and others here.As for myself NONE of the birds I've taken have been what you like to call tame birds.Other than you I've never seen anyone else here try to tell others what a great hunter they are.Your birds are the toughest only you can kill em.Man you're a legend in your own mind. You never come here to offer advice or to try and help someone. All ya do is bitch whine how rough ya got it and tell us how no one is as good as you are.Personally,I don't think you'd make a pimple on a turkey hunters ass.To everyone else here.Sorry for the rant but I've been listenin to this guy run others down and blow his own horn for a few years now. Many good members no longer come here because of his attitude.Once again to everyone else I apologize |

Also the wma had food plots on it. |
