RE: Public Land Brids
Well...I see what all the fuss is about now.
It's bad enough most anti-hunters think we hunters are just a bunch of dumb rednecks and pretty ridiculous when you act like it on these forums where the entire world can read it and support such asinine opinions. Why not pass on your hunting wisdom or something instead of arguing so much? Edit: This reply is to Mr. Longbeard. |
RE: Public Land Brids
anybody that thinks public land hunting isn't, in fact, alot tougher, is only kidding himself. I hunt both public and private ground all across the South and Midwest and I've killed turkeys on both.
General statement: Public land birds are harder to kill. Easterns are much harder to kill than Rios or Merriams (never hunted Osceolas). It's harder to kill an Eastern in the South than the Midwest or Northeast, with the obvious exception of south and west Texas. Like I said, I've hunted all over and killed somewhere around 150 turkeys in 30 years, and this is MY experience. Having said that---Don't be a turd, ML. |
