Who wants to be the team captain? They will be responsible for keeping tally of all our scores and turning them over to Pat in theend. Here's another name suggestion, Gobbler Guerillas. Makes me feel like I'm at war with the turkeys, . Somebody just pick one, it'll be fine with all of us I'm sure.

We do need to pick a Captain for the team. I would love to do it, but I am going to be busy with turkey hunting clients in Nebraska from April 13- May 6. I do have internet access with my laptop, but have offered to Pat to take over the running of the contest, until he gets his shoes on the right feet. Not that I couldn't do it, but it would just be in the evenings when I could get online. If someone is retired or has more time---- But I will do it if ya'll want. Let me know. Feel free to PM or Email me.

Thatta boy SouthernStrut....way to get us on the board.

IL, WI, IA hunters....how are the birds coming along in your area? Are they gobbling in the roosts quite a bit? About three weeks until game time here.

If you guys want me to, I can track our team and pass the info on to Pat at season's end. I took care of the sign ups for him (with only few complaints). Just let me know

I nominate Chad! Who will second it? Not that I wouldn't love to do it, but I think I will have my hands full between managing turkeycamp and running the contest.Maybe you didn't see my post above. I am taking over the running and posting of scores for Pat. He and I will be in Ne and Ka during the turkey seasons there, but I can handle it from my laptop.

I don't know Chad or his screenname, but if he's good for y'all he's good for me! That'll work.
I got busted by a nice one today guys, sorry I couldn't put him on the wall for us, but I'll be able to get him soon. Saw about 20-25 birds today just in the woods, so I'm hoping I can smack a nice one this week, maybe two. Heard about 7 different birds gobbling their heads off. The train was rumbling down the tracks as one nice gobbler was comin up the ridge and he popped his head up before I could hear him and point in his direction. That happened twice today with the stupid train, but oh well, it happens. That train helps with the noise while I'm sneakin in but it screwed me today cause I never heard'em coming. I'm goin with a buddy to his place in Clay County tomorrow morning.....actually in about 4 1/2 hours. Hope we get the one he's been after. What about the team name guys??? Let's decide this week. I'mhittin the bed, hopefully I'll bring good news tomorrow!

OK guys. If you can be sure to PM your scores to me, I'll keep a spreadsheet and submit it for our team when the contest concludes. You can e-mail me anytime at [email protected] or PM me here. Best of luck to everyone.

Chad
