Team 4 "Thunder Chickens"

RE: Team 4 Check in.
Good to have you Sticky. My season is from Apr 20 to 25. With this recent warm spell, I sure hope it cools off again. I'm not too excited about sitting out there in 85 degrees with ants crawling up my ass! I PM Pat_Ely and he said our team name was fine, we just need to put it in the title of the thread now, I think Pike has to do that though, since he authored our thread. I'll drop him a line!

I am for YooperMike being team captain...
I'll be going out in the woods this season with my new Remington 870 SPS-T with thumbhole and a Primos Jelly Head choke, Federal flight control wads 3.5" #5 shot. I patterened the gun about a month ago and was getting a good pattern out to about 50 yards. Hopefully I can get one to come that close.

Everything sounds good so far, I like the vote for team name!
I will be hunting our last season this year which is May 7 - May 31, usually do pretty good so I am crossing my fingers!
I am torn whether I will use my Nova or my 935 this year....

Nice birds guys! I don't have any pics as I haven't killed one yet, but I hope that changes this year! Carpmaster, where in MI are you at? I know in the UP there aren't too many turks, MEnominee county is about the best bet for us. Otherwise, they are congregated around where the NWTF feeders are in the winter and they don't move too far away in the spring/summer. I think next season I'm going to try and get one in MI as well as IL. I have an uncle that lives close to where they feed turks in the winter and I should be able to get one around his house.
