Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Im counting the days now. Im off to Missouri this Sunday to hunt on their opener on Monday. Oh how I cant wait. This Saturday evening I'll be cookin up the last bird from last year. It will be an early Turkmas eve. Then Turkmas eve will come again for the Indiana season on the evening of the 24th and hopefully we'll be eating a big Missouri Gobbler then... I just hope everything goes as planned, but we all know how turkey hunting can be.......

well, KS opener today but the weather was horrible. raining, windy and cold. didn't hear a gobble or yelp all morning. 2 friends of mine reported the same. we did hear some gobbling over the weekend during my son's youth season so i know they're there.

I've been emailing my friend down south and Tennesse is a go! I'll be hunting Thursday through Sunday next week. He says they're starting to get fired up and him and a couple other guys have shot 5 already. I hope they save some for me. I'll get back in time to hunt Ohio opener next Monday. Good Luck to everyone.

Hey guys, just got internet access. I've been all over. Started in Kansas and killed two Rios in Stafford county and then took off for North and South Dakota. I killed three merriams in the Dakotas. Two on Standing Rock indian reservation and one on Cheyenne River Sioux indian reservation. I'm going to post pics in the following posts. I'm currently in Iowa and trying to figure out if I should stay and hunt zone 7 or head to my pops house in Missouri. I've gotten great reports on gobbling activity in Missouri, but went out today and had birds gobbling all over. Check out the pics and I'll be back on in a bit. Take care and God bless.

David
