Way back in time, there was a guy who let the secret out, I think it was Dick Kirby. You don't have to shake your head, the call will do it all. It is not easy to learn, but the mouthing is TUK-KA! Start slow to form both parts then speed it up and you will gobble.

On the CD that came with my Primos diaphragms, they gobble on there. I can gobble pretty much the same as Will Primos, sounds like a young jake gobbling more than a tom, but still pretty good. The other guy on the CD can really gobble without a call.

Does any one know of a goodDVD on calling with a diaphragms. The ones I have watched where not very good.

thanks for all of the help.... i tried the shaking head method and got some pretty decent sounds. although i would have to agree that for the time being i sound more like a jake than a tom (but that's not necessarily a bad thing). i'll try the hand web method later on.

Like some have said, you can gobble with a diaphragm by shaking your head side to side while blowing air over it. You look like a moron, there's alot of movement involved, but it works!
