just curious how many people use a bow to turkey hunt. i use both but just wandering

well i have never tried hunting for turkey with a bow but im planning to do it this year even though i havent got one with a shot gun yet and there are no gobblers under my belt but i hope it will all change this spring to get one with a gun or bow but i am planning on useing both

Using a bow and arrow is the only way I hunt , never had a use for a firearm for any type of hunting.
I have taken many animals with my bow , it's alot more challenging and takes more skill.

i agree bowhunting is the way to go i really havnt killed much with my rifles either

I will be making my first bowkill this year!!! If everthing goes right.LOL
Me and my buddy Rob will be going to Kansas for gobblers the first of April.
Then I may take the bow with to Mich. with another friend. I took it last year and had a gobbler to within 30 yds but he would not come closer.

I think i am going to try and take one with a shotgun and one with a bow.
you guys that have used a bow before, do you hunt from a treestand or a blind?or from the ground?

A ground blind is a must for bow hunting turkeys. They totally ignore the blind and makes drawing on the sharp eyed bird very easy.

I completed my ultimate goal last spring with the compound. Now I want to start my slam this year with a recurve.
