One bearded bird in the spring on your spring liscence.Either sex in the fall on a fall liscence. These are two seperate liscence and we have to apply for them,as they are both limited in number. No over the counter here in Minnesota.

I don't understand your question.
Are you talking about tags, or state bag limits?
In tennessee, you buy a license and go hunting. We can apply for certain special quota hunts on management areas. The statewide bag limit is 4 birds with not more than two from WMAs or refuges. We are not required to purchase separate tags for each bird.

In Iowa you have to buy a separate license for each bird & with one license you get one tag. Deer hunting works the same way.
And you still to purchase a regular hunting license & habitat stamp before you can buy a turkey or deer license.
