Does anyone here shoot blackpowder shotguns for these birds? I've been considering the Encore for my rifle BP season deer and elk and was thinking about getting the interchangable BP shotgun barell. Anyone use one? I like the 1 shot challenge.

Yea I do. I have a Knight TK2000 shot gun and use it for turkey and love it. I also have a Knight black powder "Big Horn" rifle that I use for deer which shots the new plastic jacket that makes it totally water proof.
I don't know anything about Encore.

That sounds like a good idea, but for about the same price as an Encore shotgun barrel and forearm, you could get a Knight inline shotgun. They are overbored and easier to load the wads in.
