just wanted to know if everyone had a good season. i didnt have a good one this year

Although I wasn't lucky enough to shoot a bird with my bow.
I had a good time out in the wood's & I did see some birds and deer out there.

I guess i would say i had a good season. I shot my first turk with a bow and that is all really wanted to do this year.

My best season yet. But i also put forth the most effeort yet. I killed 5 toms this year and I am already planning for hunts next year.

Excellent season some real close call's with no shot's and some with shot's but we've got some bird's and a couple more to go.

You said you were in on 23 kills this spring and you bagged two up north and your having a so so year

I killed two this spring and I consider my self as being blessed!!!(difference between public and private)

How many kills make a season a great season????

I managed to fill the 3 tags I had but the birds didn't work real well.Most came in silent.So in that aspectit wasn't as excitin as other years.My 14 yr old son filled the only tag he had and that made the season real excitin.

If I kill a public land gobbler I'm loving life!!!! I like the strutting and gobbling but that dosen't always happen for me... I'll take coming in silent any day of the week...
