im realitivly new to turkey hunting seeing as how im only 16 and i would like to know what kinds of calls everyone uses and which are the most effective, thanks for your help!

My favorite calls are Quaker Boy but not limited to just their brand. I love using a mouth call Old raspy hen and pro triple are my favorites for mouth calls. But I just love my slates and box calls as well. I dont use the push button call (easy yelper) very much...

I like my Primos Crystal Freak, straps on my leg and has called many a bird in. I also use a variety of diaphrams.

thanks for the advise, i have a freak frictionite which i have already use to call in a bird for my buddy and it is real easy to use, i will check out the quaker boy mouth calls too, i haev heard good things about them

I prefer slate calls , here's one I just finished:The newest addition

I have always carried about 8 different slate type calls with me. Though, this year I had to beat the turkeys off of me when I used my Rohm brothers walnut box call.

gobblegetter, where are you from in NY, also I suggest Quaker boy mouth and slate calls.

I am a huge fan of Boss Tom Turkey calls, Made in Canastota NY. Any Slate/glass/aluminum works well with me, just starting to use the mouth calls some more.
