Default And so ends another season...

Every year hopes are high... And every year ends the same... Full of disappointment, frustration, disgust, anger, and evenmore disappointment... This is year #12 without a kill... I have shot 1 turkey in my life and that was the first year I ever tried andI was 16 years old... I am at a loss to the amount of bad luck one can have... I would have joined a turkey team this year like last, but I knew I would be a help... lol

This year I heard them gobblin all over on the neigbors property, but couldn't get one to come over to save my life... I even heard the neigbor shoot 3 times (in a row)... Missed all 3 I assume... I think I've had it... It was fun just going into the woods and hunting the first8-9 years, but now it's justnot fun anymore... It's turned into a mission the fails every time... And the disappointment is getting very hard to take... Practicing calling, magazine articles, dvd's help not... We'll see I guess.. Look for alot of turkey gear to come up for sale...

Thanks for letting me vent...

I really feel bad for you. I have shared your pain in deer archery and itcan be hard after awhile when you don't get anything. I always findthat when theseason starts eachyear my excitement and hopes are high to get out there and have some fun. It will all come togather for you.

I know the feeling Boy do I know the feeling.
Each year I get close and yet so far
I have to hunt on public land
and the spots I go to are small
So I will need to get another spot/spots
The only thing all the land is leased to someone else [:@]
And costs a lot of green that I just don't have

So I know your PAIN
Espesaly the teasing I get from the wife

We just have to keep plugging on
And looking back to see where we went wrong
And hopefully learn from our mistakes.

I Wish You Good Luck Next Year
