I've had some pretty good success over the years using decoys, but this year I think they were more a hindrance than a help. The gobblers that did see them, got hung up at 70-80 yards and wouldn't commit and even the deer were suspicious of them and spooked.

Decoy's have alway's worked well for me ,but I have given up on using the Jake ,it seem's to spook the tom's ,so now I use 1 hen decoy and have had pretty good result's with it .I agree with Greg H while bowhunting I only put my hen about 10 yrds in front of my blind and it will bring em in close .
